Choosing a Mounting Method
The provided mounting bracket allows Elderflower to be attached to a pole or screwed to a flat surface.
Steps 1-5 (Pole Mounting Method)
Step 1 - Pole Mounting
Remove the nuts from one side of the bracket and hinge open the pole clamps.
Step 2 - Pole Mounting
Place the bracket against the pole. Note that the arrows on the bracket should be pointing up.
Move the pole clamps back into position and tighten all four nuts to secure the bracket to the pole.
Step 3 - Pole Mounting
Adjust the angle of the bracket so that the radio will point directly at the desired coverage area. Tighten the two angle adjustment bolts to secure the angle of the bracket.
Step 4 - Pole Mounting
Hang Elderflower from the bracket. Ensure both the tangs and the tab are properly seated.
Step 5 - Pole Mounting
Tighten the large top screw to secure the radio onto the mounting bracket.
Steps 6-7 (Screw Mounting Method)
Step 6 - Screw Mounting
Remove the four nuts and 2 pole clamps from the bracket assembly.
Step 7 - Screw Mounting
Remove the two U bolts. You may need to adjust the angle of the bracket in order to remove the bolts.
Step 8 - Screw Mounting
Using the appropriate fastener for your application, drive screws into all four mounting holes.
Note that the arrows on the bracket should be facing up. It is recommended to adjust the angle of the bracket to provide better access to the screw mounting holes.
Step 9 - Screw Mounting
Adjust the angle of the bracket so that the radio will point directly at the desired coverage area. Tighten the two angle adjustment bolts to secure the angle of the bracket.
Step 10 - Screw Mounting
Hang Elderflower from the bracket. Ensure both the tangs and the tab are properly seated.
Step 6 - Wiring
Loosen the three screws and open the port door.
Step 7 - Wiring
Plug in the _meter ethernet cable to the port labeled “ETH/POE++”. Press the cable into the metal spring clip and route the cable through the rubber seal. Close the door and tighten the three screws.
